No Escape

Thy dangerous learning environment pains me
As the classroom's dullness mocks my anguish
With no hope of escape, I sit to learn
As my demeanor grows dim and somber

The babbling of my classmates continues
The hypnotic lecture continued on
As my sleepy eyelids grew heavier
My drowsy gaze became the face of snooze

The day nears it's end, rejoice fills my veins
My drowsy gaze becomes an alert stare
And I hear "See ya later Gerardo"
Only to restart this grevious cycle
