Act 3 Scene 1

The fight between Mercutio and Tybalt was bound to happen. The only way it could have been avoided is if one of them had died earlier in the story, or if they would have been kept away from each other. Mercutio + Tybalt= drama, hate, and chaos. A hothead like Tybalt has to get in a fight with the calm Mercutio. It seems as if these two families were born to hate each other, and Rome and Juliet were bound to love each other and cause chaos.
I feel most sympathy for Romeo, because he is the one who is left, stuck in the biggest mess of his life, and one of the people he cared about most has left his side. The plan ended up a disaster. It seems as absolutely everything is going the wrong way, and fortune decided to become his enemy. Romeo has gone through many hardships in this scene, his cousin died, he had to fight a Capulet servant, and he is left in a very difficult situation. He must feel great grieve, and it would be hard to keep your spirits up after such an incident.
From this the fight between the Montagues and the Capulets will grow into an even bigger mess. These families started a cycle in which every action has a stronger reaction. One family will cause one misfortune to the other family; the other family will then cause an even bigger misfortune to the first family. This cycle continues to grow, as do the families. It doesn’t seem to have an end.
